We are a proud small family business owned and operated by me, Matt Altendorf. Together with my wife Blythe, we are raising three incredible kids: our adventurous son, Carter, who is now 14, our creative daughter, Adalynn, who is 10, and our spirited youngest, Taylee, who is 9. When we’re not immersed in our work, we cherish the moments spent with family and friends, and we make it a point to go camping a few weekends each year to connect with nature and create lasting memories. During the colder months, you’ll often find me embracing the chill while ice fishing or cheering on our local hockey team at the rink, a passion that has become a cherished part of our lives. Having grown up on a dairy farm, I have deep-seated roots in that lifestyle, and I still relish the opportunity to lend a hand there whenever I can, nurturing a connection to my past while sharing it with my own family.

I’ve been passionate about the landscape industry since 2004, a journey that has been both fulfilling and transformative. After studying Landscape Technology at Central Lakes College in Brainerd, I had the invaluable opportunity to work with several reputable area landscape contractors. This hands-on experience allowed me to hone my skills while gaining a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in creating stunning outdoor spaces. In 2013, driven by my desire to push the boundaries of my expertise, I took a leap of faith and began working on my own projects, which ultimately led to the establishment of this business that I am proud to call my own.

We prefer to adhere to a policy of no surprise proposals for our projects. We maintain consistent pricing for all proposals related to the outlined scope of work. Should there be any changes, additions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond anyone's control, we engage in a discussion with the client to collaboratively find a solution, ensuring everyone is aligned and there are no surprises at the time of the final billing.
